SUMMER CAMPS

Our summer camps are 2 weeks long, with students learning how to work with basic robot components to create a functioning robot that will compete in an exciting, unique challenge for each session. Students also showcase their design choices and strategies to an audience to gain presentation skills. Some of the challenges include:

  • Sumobot: Robots go head to head in a circular arena with the goal of autonomously pushing the opponent out of bounds
  • Line Follow Race: Robots race while following lines on a track to make it to the finish line first.
  • Cup Pong: Robots drive in a circle around the area while launching ping pong balls into one of the target zones to score the highest points.

Summer Camp Schedule:

  • Session 1: June 3rd – June 14: Sumo Bot
Everest Academy 610 Brand Ln, Stafford, TX 77477
  • Session 2: July 8th – July 19: Line Follow Race

YEAR LONG CLASSES

Class levels

Beginner

Introduction into robotics design, programming and a precursor to our competitive teams, students learn:

Intermediate

For students who already have exposure and basic knowledge of robotics design to continue developing their skills and knowledge while taking on more complicated challenges and using more advanced robotics components and programming languages.

Pre-Team (6-8 years old)

Students who excel in our classes but are not old enough to join our competitive teams are placed in this program where their skills are nurtured and developed to prepare them for participating on a competitive team.

Sign up to be on the waiting list and we’ll contact you when the fall schedule is released.
